While they may work when we try them, it must be remembered many of these items have been around for decades. They have probably spent a good part of that time in not the most ideal of environments such as an attic or basement.
All things considered it is impossible to guarantee they will still work for ANY amount of time after we have tried them.
We recommend that vintage electronics whether purchased from us or someone else, should be checked and serviced for any faulty or likely to fail from age components before being put into use.
HEATHKIT TRANSISTOR TESTER MODEL IT-18
We put a battery in this unit to try it. The meter moves but we do not have the manual to tell us how to use it so no further testing has been done.
All items are described to the best of my ability.
