Tektronix 2467 briteye oscilloscope 350MHZ+cal+guaranty
The Tek 2467 is the image intensifying version of the 2465A and immediate predecessor of the 2467B portable analog scope. Tek made it around 1987, and it cost around $13000 new before adding options, but you can now get it for just a tiny fraction, still working just fine. Image intensification allows low rep rate signals to compete favorably in brightness with high rep rate signals... It is handy for seeing infrequent glitches, single lines out of tv fields. It is not a storage scope. It has advantages over newer storage scopes such as: a) no aliasing, b) it is repairable (no secrets, no SMDs, and c) it dedicates just 1 task to each knob for best ergonomics.
Since I charge a flat $600 to fix a scope, the start price can't be any lower, as there would not be enough left over for my restoration work.
