I-stat portable clinical analyzer and accessories
This equipment is in excellent working and cosmetic condition.
This i-stat has been in use at our private veterinary clinic since Late December 2003. It has only been used as a counter top analyzer, and not carried all over as a portable device. It is in great shape, never any issues. I would have to guess that we ran it approx. a few times a week since we have had it. Great device. Our practice made some analyzer upgrades and no longer have a use for the i-stat.

The analyzer itself uses two 9V batteries, and the printer uses four AA batteries. No power cords are used. This equipment is completely portable. The i- STAT Communicates with printer and IR dock through Infrared laser. Also comes with i-STAT clinical applications operations manual and user guide. Individual cartridges and printer paper will need to be purchased separately from Abaxis.
The i-STAT Portable Clinical Analyzer and its operational components perform a wide variety of biochemical, acid-base, blood gas, hematology and coagulation assays in any veterinary hospital. Three to four drops of fresh whole blood or heparin-anti coagulated whole blood are placed into the test cartridges, and the cartridge is inserted into the analyzer. Testing begins automatically, and quantitative patient results are displayed in approximately 2 minutes. 50 patient records are stored in the analyzer and data may also be printed out using the portable printer.
