The Bendall is a modification of the Helmold Standard Bender with an extended back block which allows either standard dies or bending mandrels to be used. This permits closer bends and circular shapes to be produced which are beyond the capabilityof dies alone on the Standard Bender. Note the removable dovetail dieholder [part 11] and mandrel adapter [part 10] which allows both dies and mandrels to be accommodated.
The adapter, with bushings, takes the following sizes of mandrels which are furnished: 3/16", 1/4", 5/16", 3/8" and 1/2". Standard female die Nos. 22 23, 24, 25, and 19 [not furnished with attachments] are used in combination with the above in the order stated. Longer diameter mandrels and female dies can be furnished as shown below.
