You are viewing a Smith Corona electric typewriter. The model # is SD650. It uses Smith Corona "H" Correctable Series typewriter cartridges. They are easy to install, just lift out and snap in. There is a working cartridge installed. You will love the built in dictionary. Corrections are easy with this model, you can correct anywhere on the page in a snap! The typewriter has the following features and more:
Spell Right Dictionary - Includes 50,000 words...identifies spelling errors with a beep.
2 Typing Modes (Memory Mode and Typewriter Mode). The difference between the two is with Memory Mode, characters appear on the display as you type so you can edit before printed on paper. Typewriter mode, is where typed characters immediately appear on paper.
Volume Control (to adjust the volume of beeps if you make an error)
Impression Control (Can adjust the force of the strike against the paper)
Relocate error (For corrections)
Memory Text Storage (you can store frequently used letters and documents. Will store 7,000 characters or approx 3 1/2 pages of text)
Dictionary Pointers: Double Word Check (say you type as as, because you typed word twice, it will let you know) Also has capitalization check.
International and Special Symbol
The typewriter has been tested and all of the buttons / functions are working properly. The automated demo test was also run, and it came out with flying colors! It is in excellent...like new condition. Everything about this unit is MINT. The typewriter does come with the Owner's Manual and the typewriter cover. It also has a built in handle to carry typewriter with ease. The Owners Manual has a piece of tape on front cover, but other than that, it is in perfect condition as well.
