5/8" x 3/4" positive displacement cold water submeter
This 5/8" x 3/4" cold water meter is not like most other meters available online. This positive displacement meter can be installed in ANY ORIENTATION without adversely affecting accuracy. This is the main difference between a jet-style meter and a positive displacement meter.
Included, with the purchase of a meter, is a set of meter couplings and rubber gaskets. The meter couplings are necessary to transition from the straight mechanical threads, that all meters have, to a tapered 3/4" "NPT" thread that all plumbing fittings have.
This meter comes standard with a pulse output for interfacing with remote totalizers or any automatic meter reading (AMR) device. The pulse device is passive in nature, a reed switch, with no sensitivity to polarity. It can best be described as a form A switch. A standard 3' lead length of wire is attached to each pulse switch.
