7/8" wide X 7/16" thick X 2 9/16" long and slotted for a 5/16" screw
Tip: When adjusting the jaws only bring each jaw into very light contact with the workpiece, Do not squeeze the work with the jaws because this will exert more pressure than necessary and cause premature failure to the jaws, score the workpiece and create excessive heat.
Tip: Always use some type of extreme pressure lubricant between the jaws and work. Keep a close eye on the lube, cause it does not want to stay where you want it. Never use your finger to apply lube, use a small brush or popsicle stick
