This item is used and in very good condition. We have tested this chart recorder, and found it to be fully functional. It scrolls the paper at all speeds, and the pens move back and forth as they should. We connected a signal generator to the inputs and both pens responded properly. The pens responded to frequencies between .01 and 40 Hz (above 40 Hz the recorder outputs a straight line even at maximum scroll speed, and the signal generator does not go below .01 Hz).
