This variable speed control is a brand new USA made unit. It accepts a 208/240 vac single phase input and is rated for motors up to 1/2 HP, Model #SM202S. The VFD is used to run 3 Phase 220V motors with only 208/240V Single Phase Power. The speed control is offered with a 1 year warranty. It is perfect for use with lathes, saws, grinders, sanders or whatever motorized equipment that you want to control the speed of. It provides forward, reverse, variable speed, and motor overload protection as well as constant torque through out the rpm range. The VFD can maintain constant torque throughout the rpm range. Acceleration and deceleration times can be programmed into them and it also can provide braking as well. The speed can be controlled by the buttons on the face of the drive, with a potentiometer or you can have up to 3 preset speeds programmed in so that a press of a button will bring you to the speed you want. there are many other options available with these, connection to other devices such as PLC.
