Tool will cut but not very good. It is in good condition - no missing or cracked teeth, or gouging on outer surface. Shank is is very good condition. Tool very clean and free of rust. Our Rotabroaches have always been used with Trim Mist coolant at all times while cutting mild steel (100 SFM) and sometimes aluminum on a manual vertical mill.
Teeth show signs of normal wear. This tool was purchased new and used until it ceased to perform to our standards - usually the first sign of wear is the slug not ejecting easily meaning it may take a bit of "persuasion" with a tap of a screw driver to release it. While this may be acceptable for the hobbyist who needs to drill a couple of holes here and there, it slows down our production operation when drilling hundreds of holes with the cost of labor at a premium. So, when the tool begins to slow us down, to the dull box it went. Unlike some of our other Rotabroaches we have listed, this tool has been resharpened MULTIPLE TIMES - hence the reason for the extra low price! Each tool averages about 400-500 holes through 1" thick steel before we replaced them. This tool has been sharpened many times and it needs it again.
