FIBERAMP-BT 17 is a high-performance Erbium-Doped Fiber Amplifier that operates in the 1.55um
spectral window. It features a single-pump configuration that delivers an outstanding high output power
of +17 dBm of saturated output. Its co-propagating configuration (using a 980 nm pump diode) provides
a low 4.5dB (typ.) noise figure and is ideally suited as a source booster. FIBERAMP-BT 17 can operate
either in "Constant Power Mode" or "Constant Current Mode". Either pump power or current is user
programmable via the IEEE488 interface or by using the front panel dials.
