It is called the Ease of Use for a reason. It is easy to set the folds by moving the stop on each fold plate to a clearly marked spot and tightening a thumb screw. The hopper holds up to 150 sheets, or you can feed up to 4 sheets at a time together manually, even with staples. It can handle up to legal size paper in 7 different folds: letter, zig-zag, half, double parallel (fold in half, then in half again in the same direction) and french (fold in half long way and put through again from the side). It is small, weighs 38 lbs. and is easy to set up and use.
To begin, you set the type of fold by moving the 2 knobs that set the fold stops on the front and back removable plates. For letter and legal size paper, the stops are marked for the 5 types of folds. For automatic operation, you place up to 150 sheets of paper in the hopper, turn it on and press the start button. The sheets will be folded in a few minutes and neatly stacked by the conveyor below. It will automatically shut off when done. If a jam is detected, (a sheet does not make it through in 2 seconds), it shuts off, making the clearing process much easier.
