This meter memorizes the values for pH 4.01, 7.01, and 10.01 and uses automatic buffer recognition.
Type-belt printer uses regular, non-fading paper. Inexpensive replacement paper is also available (Replacement part# HI 710034).
HI 9224 delivers many hours of use with 5 minute printing intervals. The meter uses common AA batteries.
A 12VDC power supply can also be used to power the meter.
HI 9224 is the first portable, printing pH meter in the world. Housed in a rugged, hand-held casing with a splash-proof keyboard and weighing less than 500 grams (1 pound), this meter can be carried anywhere in the lab or in the field for on-the-spot recording. Recording interval is set at 5 minutes.
The printout supplies the user with the interval, lot #, and temperature and pH value. Measurements can be performed with lab grade precision in the field as well as in the laboratory without compromising accuracy ( 0.01 pH and 0.5 C). Three memorized buffers (pH 4.01, 7.01, 10.01) with automatic buffer recognition make calibration simple. In addition, calibration is reduced to a push-button operation.
For long term field or lab applications, the HI 9224 can be connected to a 12VDC battery recharger. This flexibility will allow your testing to continue even if there is a power failure. By using advanced technology and state-of-the-art electronics Hanna offers the HI 9224 at a fraction of the cost of a typical recorder.
