Sealed construction and screws provide dust protection and water-resistance; and with sunshade provide for use in various weather conditions. Large, precise focusing-knob and easy-grip styling. Fine motion knobs on left and right sides with friction-braked rotation and endless horizontal drive. Magnetically-dampened wire-hung compensator for optimum range and accuracy for +/- 0.8" setting accuracy, +/- 15' working range, has a lock for protection during transport or storage, doubles as a compensator checking tool. Large, effective, 36mm clear objective aperture. 8"L telescope with erect image. 20X offers 1/8" accuracy at 100'/200' working range; 24X offers 1/16" accuracy at 150'/300' working range. 1' short focus for max usable range, 1:100 stadia for distance est., 3.5" resolution, and 1-degree 20' field of view. 8' circular level vial sensitivity. 4" diameter, easy-to-read horizontal circle numbered every 10 degrees (1-degree min accurate division).
