For sale is a new Jet 13 X 40 GH-1340W-3 lathe. It is 8 months old and was a floor model at the Jet headquarters in Tacoma Washington until they closed that facility in march of this year. This machine is brand new, everything is perfect on it. Still on the original pallet and has some of the original grease that jet puts on the machined surfaces to protect them from rust. It is 3hp 3 phase 230/460v geared head and includes a 6'' 3 jaw and 8'' 4 jaw chuck, 12'' face plate, 4 way tool post, steady & follow rest, foot brake and a tool box with tools. Jet part number 321820 / GH-1340W-3. This is the high end commercial duty lathe with the cast iron base instead of the sheet metal base and is about 1000 pounds heavier. I hate to sell it because its practically brand new but I need a bigger lathe for what I do. Jet has this same model on sale right now for $6699 and their suggested retail is $8568.
