This is a genuine Harris / Intersil (now MAXIM) ICM7211 4-digit LCD Display Driver Chip. This chip drives a non-multiplexed LCD display with four 7 segment LCD digits with characters 0-9 and HEX characters A-F. A single-chip solutions for an LCD display system! These chips retail starting at around $15 a piece!
This chip is new and has never been used. I bought it for my electronics work but never got the chance to use it, and now I don't need it anymore.
