If lights blink, settings change, needles move, things move (in our opinion) smoothly, etc., we classify that as "appears to function normally". We have neither the technology nor the knowledge to extensively test most of the equipment we receive.

Typical individual item packing policy is to cover/wrap item in protective plastic (or static barrier, as appropriate) prior to placing in packing material (some items are placed into protective sleeves - not all items are packaged separately) with a foam/peanut barrier surrounding the item on all sides (as per standard packing guidelines).
Fragile/heavy/high value units are given additional care, as appropriate.
If, WHEN YOU REMOVE THE ITEM FROM THE PACKAGING, you find, that the unit does not function/perform as described, let us know immediately. Be sure you are testing only the functions/features stated here, as we make no claims, express nor implied, that the item does anything more than directly stated here.
