Struers Petrimat automatic petri plate pourer
This system consist of two units, a pump and a pourer. The pump has a two-channel peristaltic pump on the side, a mains switch on the front, a "seconds" knob running from 0 to 10, a "manual" button, and a stop/start switch. On the back is a power cord (115V) and a 7-pin connector for the dish filling unit. The dish-filling unit has a vertical channel for holding petri plates 4" across by 14.5" tall, with a hole in the front where a hose is apparently intended to enter for plate filling. No hoses are included with this unit. The dish filler connects to the pump unit via a cable with a 7-pin connector. Inside the dish filling unit is a UV light source and a trigger switch that causes the pump to operate when a petri plate slides under the opening for the hose.
When plugged in and turned on the internal tray of the dish pourer stars oscillating, the UV light comes on, and the pump rotates when the trigger is manually pressed. No petri plates were available for testing.
