AC DC Electronics Model 251 Power Supply
Output is 5V at 2A, +/- 12V at 0.4A. Input is set for 230/240 VAC, but can be resett for 100, 117, or 220 volts depending on how the input transformer is connected. Input is 75VA at 50.60Hz.
Input connections are made directly to the transformer, output connections are to solder posts.
Overall size is 6.5"x4"x2". Unit is on a sturdy aluminum chassis (which is also the heatsink for the regulator transistors) and can be mounted on any of three sides. (Mounting laying down will require standoffs to accomodate the regulator transistors and transformer.)
This unit was removed from working (but obsolete) equipment. It was not specifically tested, but it was working when carefully removed. It has no signs of "smoke testing" or any other visible damage- no swelled capacitors, charred resistors, or heat damage on the circuit board.
