Neodymium magnets will not loose their magnetism from coming into close proximity with other strong magnets or from smacking together. Except for vulnerability to extreme heat, they are quite permanent and will suffer no loss of magnetism in your lifetime. Heat is like "Kryptonite" to the neodymium magnets. Sustained temperatures over 80c will cause these magnets to lose their "super power".
