Branson Sonifier Converter W/900B Power Supply Booster & Horn
This is an ultrasonic converter, model 902R, a booster without a model number, a horn, and a power supply, model 910BC, made by Branson Ultrasonics Corporation of Danbury, CT in excellent working condition. The previous owner used it as a sonifier for refining fluid coatings, but according to the web it can be used for welding as well. The booster appears to be a Branson 900 Series Gold aluminum booster with a gain of 1.5:1. The horn is engraved BUC 212 101-(***)-054 14189 . I connected the converter to the power supply and turned it on and the horn immediately began making a high-pitched hissing sound. The converter/booster/horn comes with a clamp for mounting to a stand as well as a ring for mounting to a flange.
