Quantum Technology Angle Tuned SHG Cell/LFM Crystal
For sale- a Quantum Technology, Inc. Angle Tuned SHG Cell. Whatever that is. The cell had things taped to the ends to keep dust out; I removed that for the pictures and instead have wrapped it in shrink wrap when I was finished as I think that provides a more complete shield. The cell looks to be in very good physical condition, and the surplus info indicated that it should be functional. However, it is untested by me and no warranty is offered.
The instructions pictured mention KDP crystals, but I think that was for comparative purposes because it also says that To protect LFM crystals from dehydration, this cell is only filled with fluorocarbon fluid. So I was guessing the rectangular crystal that you can probably see installed in the second picture is LFM? Whatever that is. Then I happened to notice that the label on the plastic box notes CRYSTAL D-CDA Type I, SIZE 10x10x20mm, ANGLE 81 degrees. The size I can understand, the angle I sorta grasp, but the actual crystal composition is way outside of my limited knowledge of this stuff. I would assume the box is probably the last word, specific to this one, whereas the instructions are probably more generic.
