Operating this scale: Place scale on a horizontal flat surface. press the on/off button. Wait until "0.0" is displayed. Put the object(s) on the weighing platform. Using the [MODE] button, you can switch between the weighing units.
Tare Weighing Procedure: Turn on scale as described above. Place the "tare item" on the platform. Press [TARE] and wait until "0.0" is displayed. Add the "net-weight-item".
Calibration Procedure: Turn the scale ON and wait for the LCD to flash 88888. While the LCD still shows 88888, press and hold the mode button. You may release it once the LCD displays CAL. The LCD will now display the required calibration (2000). Place the required calibration weight onto the platform. The LCD will automatically display PASS then turn off. Calibration in now complete!
