In effect, it enables you to connect your radio directly to your PC and operate a selection of data modes. No external power supply is required. Components are of the highest quality and the unit underwent the stringent quality control and inspection standards. Simply download and install the drivers and software for the modes that you want to try, plug in this cable, and you are set. This cable is compatible with the following Yaesu transceivers: FT-920, FT-920S, FT-990, FT-1000, FT-1000D, FT-1000MP, FT-1000MP Mark V, FT-1000MP Mark V Field, FT-1011, FT-1021, FT-2000, FT-2000D, FT-2000M, FT-2000S, FTdx-5000, FTdx-5000D, FTdx-5000MP, FTdx-9000, FTdx-9000 Contest, FTdx-9000D, and FTdx-9000MP.
