High torque 27 volt dc motor

From the spare parts crib at the biotech plant: This motor is manufactured by Globe, Inc. and carries Part Number M102M53 and date code 9825M. Can't find it in the catalogue! SO, applying 27 VDC and 300 ma yields 22 RPM with very high torque. I think it would break my arm if I tried to stop it. At 29 volts it's 26 RPM and at 15 Volts it's 6 RPM. In addition to the two Motor leads, there are two leads marked Tach. Reversing the motor leads reverses the rotation (duh). The threaded part of the shaft is M8x1.0 and the splined part is 10mm overall with 18 (I think) splines. The motor and gearbox is 151mm long above the 8mm wide flange. The gearbox extends 19 mm below the flange followed by 19 mm of splined shaft and 14mm of M8x1.0 bolt. The mounting bolts are 4 M5 holes in a square pattern with 38mm O.C. Spacing. The motor is 38mm in diameter. They are unused and in their original containers.
