Every Test Fixture should have multiple Shunts
This is the smart dc power distribution panel that allows you to distribute power and monitor the 0-20Amp current for each of these 7 indepentent branch distribution lines at the same time. Screw Terminal #8 is the 25 amp ATC auto type fused power in and screw terminal #1 thru #7 are power out. Each leg out has an inline precision .01 ohm 1% shunt. If you know the normal operating current for each leg, then you can monitor and identify the problem areas that are outside of your acceptance range. Most DVMs now have a mV millivolt scale or you can connect this to a DAQcard or Oscilliscope. Most shunts are made for ring terminals. The majority of the applications for test fixtures are with solid or stranded wire. The 25 amp rated heavy duty pressure plates ensure a great connection with easy installation for stranded or solid wire. The panel can be panel mounted with the included metal standoffs and screws or used with the rubber feet for desktop operation. The panel is also Din Rail compatable. Din Rail mounts are extra if you need them. Monitoring the current is a very powerful tool. You just need to apply it now.
* Smart Power Distribution Panel 2"x 5.5"
* with 7 independent 20 amp Shunts , each 0-20 AMP out is 0-200mVOUT with a .01 ohn 1% Precision Shunt
* 1 thru 7 shunt outputs are available at the 1x8 screw terminal. Pin 8 is shunt common
* 20 amps at 75% duty cycle = 200mV
* 14.4 amps continous = 144mV
Metal standoffs with screws and rubber feet are included
