The NetApp V-Series GF940 (formerly known as gFiler) provides unified NAS (Network Attached Storage) and SAN (Storage Area Network) access to data stored in Fibre Channel SAN storage arrays, enabling data center storage deployment and consolidation across a range of business solutions. NetApp V-Series support a wide range of enterprise storage systems The NetApp GF940 offers 12TB of high performance managed capacity, and can be configured for simultaneous active/active access with secure failover across two independent systems in a cluster. It is designed to be a high-end NAS, IP SAN (iSCSI) and FC SAN (FCP).
