This is a brand new solid Steel replacement handle for a Lathe or other machinery. This double handle is commonly used on the compound slide of a lathe.
I can make a handle with a 5/16 hole and a 1/16 keyway. OR
a handle with a 3/8" hole and a 1/8" keyway. Other sizes may be possible so please ask if you have other needs.
Please specify what size hole and keyway you need in the handle and I will make one to fit your needs.
This handle will fit any lathe or piece of equipment from, Craftsman, Atlas, South Bend, Logan and possibly others if they have a 5/16 or 3/8 inch shaft.
The handle measures 2 inches between the centers of the balls and the crank handles are 1 3/4 inch long. The handle is the same size as many original pot metal handles, but is much stronger.
A 1/4" keyed spacer is included to keep the handle in the original position on the shaft.
PLEASE SPECIFY if you want a handle with a 3/8 inch hole and a 1/8 inch keyway, or a 5/16 inch hole with a 1/16 inch keyway, when you make the purchase.
Please ask if you need a different size hole or keyway. I have made some with square holes and made a custom bushing to bring the hole size down to 1/4", many things are possible so please ask. I will do what I can to make what you need.
