This is a true Industrial 7amp Stepper Controller (Not a un-proven kit made at home) which is capable of running large stepper motors up to the 2950oz.in NEMA 42 size

This motion controller has (4) opto output relays.........What do these do......?
Opto relays allow you to activate your machines spindle motor or coolant pump valve devices via the command of the software cycle
Very handy feature ensuring minimal loss of coolant.
How does the limit and HOME switch inputs work ......?
The limit switch and HOME switch inputs are accessed at the rear of the motion controllers 25pin patch connector socket.
Whats the Maximum input voltage this Motion controller can handle......?
All our 7amp controllers can run from 24vdc up to 80vdc
Our tests have proven the 55vdc transformer type power supply included in this package is more efficient and reliable in the long term
than switchmode type power supplies, delivering maximum torque to the stepper motors when required.
What software do you recommend......?
Almost any compatiable TTL or step/dir software maybe used.......
However you will find the most versitile program for Milling, Lathe or Plasma / Router work is MACH 3 by Artsoft
This program is costs only $179US to register the FULL VERSION through or Artsoft or is only $112 with a system
Do you sell different type systems?
Yes we cater for all types of different applications from a sherline Mill or hobby lathe right up to a large size Floor Milling machine
Are stepper systems as accurate as servo systems?
Do Stepper systems have the same accuracy as Servo systems?
The answer is "YES" there is no accuracy difference between them, they both accept and process the computers step/dir pulses in the same way.
