Norwegian state railway bridge over river sarpsfos 1878
This is a large double page antique engineering engraving published in a British engineering journal, dated January 25,1878, and is titled "Bridge Over the River Sarpsfos : Norwegian State Railways. Mr. Carl Phil, Engineer ; Messrs. Bergheim and Lecoq, Contractors." It is in excellent condition and shows the details of the iron girders and beams used to create the spans, sides, and decking of this large bridge over the River Sarpsfos. There is another single page of girder and beam construction details, as well as an accompanying article describing the bridge and its construction in great detail.
The double page engraving measures approx. 13.50 by 20 inches. The paper is mildy age toned. This is not a modern reproduction. These are vintage engineering engravings, over 130 years old, and guaranteed to be as described.
