Leica RM2165 microtome with HI1210, HI1220 hot plates
Leica RM2165 Microtome plus Leica HI1210 Water Bath and Leica HI1220 Hot Plate for sample preparation.
Used, has the expected scratches, marks and stickers associated with lab equipment see pictures below.
I am not an expert on microtomes, having never used one. However, the unit and panel power up. All lights work on the panel. Following the instructions, I have managed to jog the head backwards/forwards to adjust the cutting head and also to move it in a repetitive up/down motion for cutting/sectioning. Sectioning and trimming adjusting controls function. The only thing I could not get to work was the lock light on the panel, when the manual lever is pulled forward. However the lock light on panel works for other functions. This is probably due to my un familiarity with the instrument.
Hot plate and water bath heat up. Temperature can be adjusted.
