Green pied ringneck pheasant hatching eggs one dozen

The Pied Green is a rare and relatively recent mutation of the standard geen ringneck pheasant mutation. They are the same species and will interbreed.
The term pied refers to a recessive gene that causes the plumage to color in a "splashed" pattern with the normal color of the bird interspersed with white. The white may appear as only a few feathers or may cover a large percentage of the bird. A bird with a large percentage of white is referred to as a "loud" pied. We select our breeders for the loud pied trait, but be advised that some of the off spring may only show light pied plumage. Either way the offspring will have inherited a pied gene from both parents.
Candling eggs from these birds in our own incubators has proven excellent fertility.
All our breeders are fed a high protien game bird show along with Vionate supplement, oyster shells and grit. They have been wormed and vaccinated for newcastle and coryza.
As with any hatching eggs, we cannot guarantee your success. There are just too many variables that could effect the hatch. What we can promise is fresh, well handled eggs that have an excellent fertility record on our own farm.
