For Sale is a complete Siemens Simadyn-D/Sitor DC Drive Package. This unit was replaced in January of 2010 as a portion of a $20 Million dollar Control System upgrade for an Aluminum Mill. The drive was operating perfectly prior to the de-commissioning as a dual motor roll positioning control system. The drive was located in a motorroom type clean environment. Each motor was coupled through a clutch and brake. The brake/clutch controls are included.
This drive lineup consists of:
Two (2) Armature supply drives, in individual enclosures, each capable of delivering 530ADC @ 460VDC at 100% load.
Two (2) Field supplies, in individual enclosures, rated for 6.5ADC at 100%
One (1) Relay control/interface enclosure
Also included are all line switches, contactors, metering, motor shunts, clutch/brake controls, incoming 3 phase monitoring, DB contactor/resistors, field loss circuitry, over current protection, drive enclosures, etc...
This is a complete drive unit ready to be installed and powered back up. Nothing has been stripped from the drive!! In addition, you will receive a complete set of dwgs depicting the
cabinets, internal wiring, interconnections, drive specification manual, etc...
