We do not have any experience working with this unit, however we were able to do some minor testing. We did power it on and we did test it to hold vacuum. The refrigeration system works, but is clearly in need of recharging. It took several minutes to get cold, and after two hours it had only accumulated frost on the coil column, the chamber was not cold. The thermometer shows the wrong temperature as well, it displays as 65 degrees C colder than actual temperature.
When we tested vacuum, we could hear no leaks, and the lid was securely held in place. When we opened the vent valve, an in rush of air was heard, and the lid was easily removed.
