The two-section aluminum rod extends to 10 feet(3m) and retracts to 5.4 feet(1.6m). The face section carries a graduated, endless 10-foot stainless steel band which runs over Delrin end rollers to bring any reading into view. The graduations are an easy-to-read Philadelphia style. The heavy duty band and hardware are stainless steel and do not rust. The back section carries a clamp for holding the rod when extended and a latch for locking the band in any required position. Comes with a side rail for connecting an optional laser detector bracket.
