A test to determine whether or not you have the gene needed to taste PTC is one of the most common and simplest genetic tests.
The subject simply places it on his/her tongue and states what they taste. About 70% of people are tasters.
If you are a taster, you will experience a bitter taste.
A non-taster will have no taste present.
