KEMCO Wastewater Heat Recovery System. ALMOST FREE HOT WATER. Preheat city water to within 10 degrees F of wastewater temperature. System includes control panel, timed flow reversal / self cleaning Dezurik 4 way valve, misc. auto and manual system valves. Includes wastewater pumps and cleaning system. System includes Three STAINLESS STEEL shell and tube heat exchangers 8" diameter x 30 feet long with return tube type return bends for self cleaning. Also includes stainless steel tube / carbon steel shell steam heated booster heat exchanger ( see photo ).Your inspection invited in Elkin, NC.
Wastewater flows inside the tubes in a counterflow direction to city water which flows through the shell sides. City water is typically preheated to within 10 degrees F of the entering wastewater temperature. Industrial application. Return on investment typically 24 months or less.
