Twin searchlight truck with two ge lights & generators
Twin General Electric 1941 Searchlight truck. This is probably one of only a few double searchlight mounted searchlights in the United States. These lights produce 800,000,000 candlepower each. We recently used this one on the making of Spiderman 3 in Manhattan, New York.
We have had this unit since 1985; the truck is a 1985 F600, with low mileage. The lights are both General Electric Carbon Arc searchlights, and the generators are both 1941 16.5KW We custom built this unit, and truck, lights, and generators are in good condition. The carbons feed automatically, and of course the lights both rotate 360 degrees; one in clockwise, and the other counter clockwise. It would be well advised if you are interested in this unit to come to our location to see lights.
