This portable and professional audio digital sound level meter has been designed to meet the exacting measurement requirements of Audio Engineers, Safety Engineers, Health, Industrial Safety offices and Sound Quality control in various environments. Designed according to the specification of IEC651 TYPE2& ANSI S1.4 TYPE2 for sound level meters.

Please use a Standard Acoustic Calibrator.
1) Make the following settings:
Measurement mode: MAX function disable
2) Insert the microphone carefully into the 1/2 inch hole of the Calibrator.
3) Turn on the Calibrator and adjust the Prote-ntiometer in back top of the unit (shown in the diagram 1 ). The level of the unit (shown in the diagram 1) The level display will indicate the desired Level (94.0).

Fast: For normal measurements.
Slow: For checking average level of fluctuating noise.
8) Frequency weighting select switch.
A: A weighting for general sound level measurements.
C: C- weighting for checking the low frequency content of noise.

1) Open battery door and install four 9V battery in the battery compartment.
3) When the battery voltage drops below the operating Voltage, mark appears . Please replaced with new one.
4) When the DC adapter is used, insert the plugs (3.5 ) of the adapter into the DC 9V connector on the side panel.
2) Select the desired response and weighting, also select desired rang.
3) If weighting for general noise sound level, please select dBA.
4) If the sound source consists of the short brusts of only catching sound peak, set response to FAST. to measuring average sound level, use the slow setting.
5) When MAX mode is chosen.The instrument captures and hold the maximum noise level.
1) Do not operate the unit at high temperature and Humidity environment.
2) Please take out battery from unit if not in use for any extended period of time.
3) Once using the unit in the presence of wind, it is a must to mount the windscreen to not pick up undesired signals.
4) Operating Environmental conditon:

If the product is tested and confirmed faulty, we will then return your postage amount to you (a maximum of Royal Mail recorded rates only) and issue you with a replacement or refund.
We will need a detailed description of the problem before authorising a replacement, We will not refund or replace items that appear to have been damaged through installation or misuse.
If the product is not faulty but does not meet your requirements, providing it is returned to us in an un-used, undamaged state (including packaging), we will offer you a goodwill refund however our postage costs will be deducted from any amount refunded. The listing may show the postage as free, however we still have to pay the Royal Mail to deliver the item and that delivery cost will be deducted from your refund.
All items have to be returned within 14 days of the delivery date. Please note if you do not use the returns form there may be a delay in processing your replacement or refund.
All items are posted from the United Kingdom using Royal Mail. Postal charges also include the cost of packaging and materials. If the item is listed with free postage, we still send it recorded delivery in bubble wrap etc, it doesn't mean we scrimp on packaging because of this offer.
