This portable radiac set is loaded with all kinds of "extras" featuring six ranges of sensitivity for both Gamma or Beta radiation measurements. The scales start at 0-1 mrad/hr and go up to 0-5000 rad/hr (these scales are on the meter). The low range accessory contains a Geiger Mueller tube and had both side & end beta windows to facilitate personel and equipment monitoring
This unit comes complete with: * 3 Radiation Sensors/Detectors: 1each Low Range DT-507 (pictured), Skin Dose DT-508 (pictured) and High Range IM-226 (built into meter section).
* 1 Battery Charger (for use with NiCad batteries)115V /60 Hz or 24 VDC
* & best of all - the Technical Manual (Use, Schematics etc).
* Requires only 4 AA batteries for operation. You can use regular AA OR NiCad !!
These are tested with the Low Range probe ONLY - if we tested high radiation we'd be dead.
They are in "like new" condition, with only 0 to a few minor paint flaws on the case.
