Photo electric sensor smoke alarm includes bright escape lights that activates with alarm to illuminate a path to safety. Other features include photoelectric smoke sensing detectors for optimal protection from smoldering fires. Also reduces false alarms like those caused by cooking smoke and shower steam. The mute button mutes unnecessary alarms immediately, and also tests alarm function with same button. This unit is eco-friendly and can be completely recycled as an electronic device. With the EZ acess battery doors the alarm does not need to be removed from the ceiling to change the battery. The optional theft-prevention lock secures your alarm when activated so that batteries and/or alarm cannot be removed without proper tools. 9V battery included, loud 85dB alarm. 10 year limited warranty. Vermont and Oregon approved.
