Adapter, 3-way w/stopcock, sj 35/25 18/9, lot of 2
A pair of SJ adapters, used, but in excellent condition. No chips or cracks. There is only one stopcock plug (a few very small chips on the area of glass opposite the taper). Two new neoprene rings will be included to be used as retaining devices. They do a competent job at keeping the plug in the bore, however the plug can slide in and out a couple of millimeters.
One piece is Pyrex , the other is by Specialty Glass Inc . The approximate measurements are Pyrex : 215mm H x 145 mm W and Specialty Glass Inc : 243mm H x 125mm W. The top joints are male SJ 35/25, the other two are female SJ 18/9. The 35/25 joint on the Pyrex has a curved "fingernail" shaped drip-tip that where the angle slopes downward, but the tip points upward. The other piece has a more standard angle drip-tip, angling downward (all based on the orientation in the photo).
The stopcock plug has a large 7mm bore. It is a Pyrex piece and is a 20/46 size with a few very small chips on the area of glass opposite the taper.
Very rare, exotic pieces of glassware.
