9"/10K" south bend lathe compound slide nut
One new shop made compound slide nut. Machined from SAE660 bronze. For South Bend 9" or light 10" lathes with back lash adjustment to compensate for wear in screw and minimize or eliminate backlash.
This compound slide nut has a 3/8"-10 R.H. Acme thread with a .625" dia. body. Please compare these dimensions to existing parts to determine compatibility. I am a retired toolmaker and have been making replacement parts for my own machines. I will be listing additional spare parts that I have made.
