This Mikasa plate compactor was purchashed new in May of 2005 for $1616.50 and has not been used since December 2007. The compactor sat for 6 months within those dates for the winter's. The machine was in service for roughly 25 months @ 15 to 20 jobs per year, bringing its total estimated engine hours in @ around the 60 hr. mark. We had the belt break on us once and replaced. The machine had been serviced yearly and the oil was always at max.. This compactor is in very good condition and runs smooth. Cosmetically there are scratches and blemishes and paint has never been touched up. There is nothing to hide with this well running compactor. I just pulled the machine out of the garage, gassed it up and gave it a once over. It will need an air filter and possibly a cleaning of the fuel filter.The compactor is running very good, starts with 1 pull under choke and 1 pull off choke.
