MASTER KEYED CUTAWAY PRACTICE LOCK.
This lock cylinder has openings cut into the pin chambers that allow you to see the inner workings of the lock when a key is inserted. You actually can see the pins moving up and down as the key slides into and out of the lock. This cylinder is master keyed. We use a mixture of Schlage, Arrow, Kwikset, and Yale keyways. It is a random choice of which one you get. We use these keyways because they are some of the most common in residential use. Yale, Schlage and Arrow are among the the most secure keyways residential keyways on the market. If you would like a specific keyway please let use know and we will do our best to accommodate you.
You can see what the difference is when a user key or master key is inserted into the lock and why two keys can open the same lock.
You can also see what happens when the wrong key is inserted.
This lock comes with 3 keys. One user key, one master key and one that doesn t open the lock.
As an added bonus we will include some extra pins, springs and a SET OF MUSHROOM PINS. Mushroom pins make locks bump resistant and add an extra level of security.
