Hypertherm has updated the power cord on CSA versions of the Powermax30, and is now providing two adapter cords with each system.
The new power cord is an approximately 9 foot (3 meter) cable assembly from the power supply with a 250V, 20A twist lock plug. This plug will fit many common generators. Also included are two 1 foot (0.3 meter) adapter cords which connect to the power cord twist lock. One adapter has a 120V, 15A plug and the other has a 250v, 20A plug.
This new power cord and adapter system includes a total of three plugs one on the power cord and one on each of the two included adapter cords providing end users with added workplace flexibility and convenience. Together with the Powermax30 s 120-230V Auto-Voltage input voltage range and the system s small size and light weight (20lbs / 9kg), this new power cord and adapter system makes the Powermax30 one of the most portable, convenient and easy-to-use plasma cutting systems on the market today.
The Powermax30 plasma cutting system is the ultimate system for metal cutting up to 3/8 (10 mm). It s designed and built for tough environments but is very compact and weighs only 20 pounds (9 kg). An optional carry case and shoulder strap make transporting the system even easier.
