* The Unwind Unit provides a means to continuously wind out web to a mid process in a controlled fashion (i.e. controlled web alignment, speed, and tension). The Rewind Unit must then properly wind the material coming out of the Mid-process under proper tension with accurate web alignment to avoid telescoping the rewind roll.
* The Unwind Rewind system is designed to run a maximum web width of fourteen inches. To change the web position through the mid process, adjust the unwind edge guide sensor. The rewind is fixed, and has to be positioned to run the web down the approximate center of the rewind stand.
* The Unwind/Rewind stands are designed to handle web speeds up to 15 feet per minute (FPM) and web tensions from 4-15 ft lbs. All idler rollers are concentric and balanced. All rollers that the web contacts, has a minimum diameter of 6 .
The units were mostly used for developing a process and have between 30-40 hours usage.
They are geared to run from 0 to 15 feet per minute.
The units can be placed at about 20 feet apart with the extra 15 foot connection cable.
The unit is in working order and is in great cosmetic condition.
