These new old stock G.E. 6CX8 tubes are tested as new on our B&K 707 tube tester and are military surplus NSN 5(***)-752-6157.
Hallicrafters used the 6CX8 as a oscillator/final tube in CB transceivers such as the CB-7, CB-9, CB-17 and CB-19.
Gonset used the 6CX8 tube as the oscillator/final in the G-12, G-14 and G-15 CB transceivers.
Allied Radio Knight kit, Globe, Hammarlund, La Salle, Metrotek, Philmore, Raytheon, Realistic, Sears and many other brand names also used the 6CX8 tube as the oscillator/final.
