This came from a heavy 10L south bend lathe

Excellent condition = Almost new, very little signs of wear, hardly used, visually new (high selling price due to rarity of condition)
Very good condition = very good shape, maybe some small cosmetic dents or imperfections, but still very little wear (above average selling price)
Good condition = normal wear for its age, everything is functional, maybe some cosmetic imperfections, will try to descibe any flaws found, bushing or bearing surfaces may have some play (average selling price)
Fair condition = Medium wear on moving surfaces, still functional unless noted, maybe some poor cosmetics. (good for an emergency or for a cheaper cost)
Poor condition = heavy signs of wear or some kind of repair or imperfection, will try to descibe any flaws found, bushing or bearing surfaces may have lots of play (priced low)
Very poor condition = Broken or poorly mended areas or very heavy wear, maybe some of the pieces are usable. will try to descibe any flaws found (priced real low)
