TRAC CW/Morse Code Electronic Keyer
You're looking at a TRAC CW/Morse Code Electronic Keyer. This keyer works well - but is missing it's original cover. The cover you see in the pics is something I cobbled up out of plastic that just sets on the bottom frame. Gravity was doing its job so I never got interested in attaching it more securely. You'll also see in the picture of the back and insides that a momentary push button switch has been added for keying the radio for tuning purposes. The keyer keys positive keying solid state rigs, which is about most every modern rig these days - to key negative keying rigs you'll need to rewire the output jack. I would not recommend trying to key a high voltage tube rig with this! This thing keys in the range of probably 5 to 50 wpm - I'm only guessing at the upper speed - me, I'm only good for about 15 wpm. Comes with a fairly fresh battery - not new, but only a couple months old.
